Drei Tage im Freibad

Wie jedes Jahr machten sich am freitag Nachmittag die Jungs und Mädchen der Jugendfeuerwehr Siebnach mit Ihren Betreuern und einem Anhänger voll Gepäck auf den Weg ins Zeltlager des Landkreis Unterallgäu. Dieses Jahr wurde im Freibad Sonnenbüchl in Bad Wörishofen gezeltet. Nach der Ankunft wurde sofort der beste Platz des Lagers gesichert und das Zelt aufgeschlagen. Als die restlichen elf Jugendfeuerwehren ihre Unterkünfte ebenfalls aufgebaut hatten, folgte der Lagerapell von Kreisjugendfeuerwehrwart Andreas Thiel, der dabei einen kurzen Überblick über das Programm für das Wochenende gab. Nach dem Abendessen stand dann schon das Beach-Volleyball-Turnier an. Jede Jugendgruppe musste gegen alle anderen spielen und dadurch begleitete das Turnier die Teilnehmer durch das gesamte Wochenende.
Am Samstag nahm sich die Polizei Zeit, den Jugendlichen einen Besuch abzustatten und einen Einblick in ihre Aufgaben und Tätigkeiten zu gewähren. Neben einem Polizisten (samt Motorrad) der Autobahnpolizei waren noch Beamte der Polizeiinspektion Bad Wörishofen dabei, die über Hintergründe zu Alkohol und Drogen informierten und für ein paar rechtliche Fragen aus dem Feuerwehralltag Rede und Antwort standen. Besonders interessant war die Vorführung eines Polizisten der Spurensicherung. Hier konnte man hautnah miterleben, wie beispielsweise mittels einer speziellen Folie Faserproben von Kleidung genommen oder Fingerabdrücke auf einer Oberfläche sichtbar gemacht wurden.
Nachmittags stand dann wieder die traditionelle Lagerolympiade an – und auch hier war die Kreativität der Jugendgruppen gefragt. Denn neben einer Wettkampfgruppe sollte auch jede Jugendfeuerwehr eine eigene Geschicklichkeits-Station zu diesem Wettkampf beisteuern. Ob beim Lauf über eine Slackline, das Skilaufen zu viert durch einen Parcours oder das Transportieren eines Tischtennisballs durch einen C-Schlauch – die Mannschaft der Jugendfeuerwehr Siebnach hat sich sehr gut bei den Aufgaben geschlagen und es bis auf den 5. Platz geschafft. Nach der anstrengenden Olympiade stürzten sich alle sofort ins kühle Nass des Freibads. Zum Lagergottesdienst mit Ehrengästen, Freunden und Bekannten trafen sich die Jugendlichen wieder großen Gemeinschaftszelt. Denn auch der Segen von oben durfte nicht zu kurz kommen, wobei es Petrus am Samstag ohnehin schon sehr gut mit dem diesjährigen Lager meinte. Der anschließende Besucherabend klang dann in geselliger Runde am Lagerfeuer aus.
Nachdem sonntags die letzten Spiele des Volleyball-Turniers bestritten waren ging es an den Abbau der Zelte. Nachdem wieder alles auf dem Anhänger verstaut war und wir ein letztes Mal Mittag gegessen hatten, wurden alle Mädchen und Jungen nochmal zur Siegerehrung des Turniers zusammengetrommelt. Zwischenzeitlich hatten sich dunkle Wolken über dem Zeltplatz zusammen gebraut, uns so traten die Jugendgruppen bei einsetzendem Nieselregen rasch die Heimreise an.
